ASHFALL

Alright here it is. My first blog post on IRead Weekly. This first blog is all about a review on Mike Mullin's first book ASHFALL.  So here goes it :)

Today's talk in schools and book clubs all over America is about The Hunger Games, right? The book even got its own movie, too! Lemme tell you though, if you think the Hunger Games series is good, you'll think ASHFALL is G-R-E-A-T!! It's a page-turning adventure all through the book! With surprises when you least expect them! It's the perfect blend of a post apocalyptic, romance, and suspense story. Its got everything you could possibly want in a book. Readers beware though, the book has some very gory scenes. And as far as 1 to 5 stars go, I give it 6! Mike Mullin is creating a sequel to ASHFALL called Ashen Winter. You can read the first 2 chapters of Ashen Winter on Mikmullinauthor.com, I assure you it's just a suspenseful as ASHFALL, even though I've read only 2 chapters. Anyway,  ASHFALL would be a great summer read for any teen looking for a book like the Hunger Games!
